(*) The Unemployment and Hospitalisation coverages are mutually exclusive: Unemployment cover is available to employees with a permanent contract. On the other hand, persons who are not actively working on the date of the claim shall be covered for Hospitalisation.
The compensation amount will be used by Iberdrola to set up credit for the electricity and/or natural gas supply contract covered by the insurance, meaning you pay nothing for bills included in the insured contract until your compensation balance is spent.

Any person between 18 and 75 years of age with an electricity or gas contract with Iberdrola Clientes.
You can sign up by calling us on 91 123 83 33 or, if you prefer, by visiting your nearest service point. You may also sign up for it from our Web.
Contract duration is 1 year, automatically extendable for consecutive 1 year periods. The customer may cancel the Service at any time without penalty.
In case of a claim you must contact the MetLife, on of the main insurers worldwide, by email (siniestros-sp@metlife.es), on the phone number +34 91 725 00 77, from 09:00 am to 07:00 pm except for Fridays in the summer and before a bank holiday, until 5:00 p.m.
Metlife will process the claim and, where appropriate, notify Iberdrola of the compensation. You will not have to pay anything for your electricity or gas supply bills until the balance of the compensation has been used up.
