Many municipalities offer Property Tax (IBI) rebates, subsidies vary between towns but usually range between 30% and 50% and there are also deductions in personal income tax (IRPF).

Surplus offsetting is applied when you generate more energy than you consume. Surplus energy is fed into the grid and will be offset.

The current regulation allows that solar installations of less than 100 kW can benefit from the simplified surplus offsetting model. This means that the energy you do not consume will be applied as a discount on your bill, provided that the total discount does not exceed the total energy you consume.

In addition, with Iberdrola's Solar Cloud, the surpluses that have not been offset will be stored in euros directly in your virtual wallet and will be deducted from the bill of any of your energy contracts with Iberdrola (for your primary residence, your second home, etc.) Anyone, as long as you are the contract holder!

The energy term on your bill is a price that is made up of the network access toll, which is a cost set by the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda, and the cost of electricity production. This cost is made up of the hourly electricity market price, the cost of transmission and distribution networks, as well as other costs associated with supply.
When your installation has surpluses, these are offset at a lower price because it does not include the access toll term.

Do I need a smart meter?
All of the Made to Measure Plans except the Stable Plan and the Plan 3 periods require a smart meter installed in the system to give us remote access to data about your hourly consumption and to bill you for the cheaper rate hours in accordance with the promotion.

An energy certificate is a document certifying your house's energy efficiency. The ratings range from "G", which is the most inefficient rating, to "A", which represents the highest efficiency. This certificate may be necessary to access rebates or subsidies available in your autonomous community. In this case, you will need a certificate before and after the Smart Solar installation.
