The Solar Plan is a custom plan for all customers who already have solar panels. We have designed this plan to fit your needs as a solar self-consumer, so it promotes energy in the hours when the sun does not shine and your installation does not produce.

The Solar Plan is available for 2.0DHA tariffs.

At certain times, our installation can produce more energy than we consume, and this energy is injected into the distribution grid. Current regulations stipulate that solar installations of less than 100 kW can use the simplified surplus offsetting method.

Simplified surplus offsetting involves the value of the energy you feed into the grid being calculated by your electricity supplier and the resulting value being discounted from the energy section of your bill.

The maximum amount offset will be the cost of the energy term billed monthly plus the gas cap.

In addition to your surplus offsetting, we have two more products for you to get the most out of your surplus: Energy efficiency bonus: If you have more surplus than you can offset and you are doing this at a fixed price, we will give you a bonus for your surplus in the power term and in the financing of the subsidised rate if it applies? Solar Cloud: If you continue to have more surpluses, they will accumulate in your Solar Cloud and you will be able to use them in any electricity contract you have. Available if your offsetting is at a fixed price?

Once the photovoltaic installation has been completed, in the legalisation process in your Autonomous Community you must indicate that you wish to take advantage of the simplified surplus offsetting method. The Autonomous Community has a few days to inform the electricity distribution company in your area, which in turn must inform your electricity supplier company within a few days. The law regulating the offsetting of surpluses is recent, so this process may still take a little longer than desired depending on where you live.

Once this procedure has been completed, all you have to do is sign a contract with the supplier that provides for the offsetting of your surpluses.

If you contract the installation with Smart Solar Iberdrola you will not have to worry about anything. We will take care of everything, including the formalities.

The energy term on your bill is a price made up by the network access toll, which is a cost set by the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda, and the cost of electricity production. This cost is made up by the hourly price of the electricity market, the cost of transmission and distribution networks, as well as other costs associated with the supply.

When your installation has surpluses, these are offset at a lower price because it does not include the access toll term.

Do I need a smart meter?

All of the Made to Measure Plans except the Stable Plan and the Plan 3 periods require a smart meter installed in the system to give us remote access to data about your hourly consumption and to bill you for the cheaper rate hours in accordance with the promotion.
