Our commitment to women's sport is based on stories of sacrifice, self-improvement and courage. We promote sporting equality and highlight the work of more than 800,000 women. Their stories have definitively changed the course of the history of Spanish women's sport.

During this year, thousands of people have been able to enjoy up to 32 sporting activities, with the presence of Olympic athletes and great national icons, as well as participating in numerous popular races with different charitable purposes, turning the streets into an open-air sports centre.

New cities 2023 Women's Universe Tour
The venues of the most important outdoor sports roadshow in Europe during 2023, a tour promoted by Iberdrola within the framework of the Women's Universe programme of the Spanish National Sports Council and Fundación Deporte Joven through different provincial capitals including Cádiz, Pamplona, Badajoz and Logroño.
The Universe of Young Icons
From Iberdrola, we support female athletes. We tell the story of Lucía Navarro, better known as SúperLu, a 9-year-old girl with T4 spinal cord injury.
This disability has not slowed her down in any way, she plays a multitude of sports and her attitude to life has made her a great young icon.

Women's Universe Tour, 7th anniversary
Iberdrola celebrates the great festival of sport for equality, as part of the event of exceptional public interest "Women's Universe" of the Spanish National Sports Council and Fundación Deporte Joven. There are now 20 editions in different sporting capitals, promoting and developing women's sport, the role of women in society and disseminating the successes achieved.

She is currently the Spanish indoor pentathlon absolute record holder at the age of 17 and became world junior heptathlon champion in Nairobi at the age of 16.

Susana Rodríguez, triple world triathlon champion with only 5% visual acuity, shows us that the person who is invincible is not the one who never falls, but the one who always gets up.
Sara Revuelta
Sara Revuelta, elite basketball athlete, diagnosed with leukaemia with loss of mobility in her lower body, she is two times European champion, has won 4 leagues and 6 King's Cups, showing us how you can achieve everything you set your mind to by overcoming fear and dreaming big.
Desirée Vila
Desirée Vila, Spanish champion in adapted athletics, who represented Spain in her discipline at Tokyo 2020, encourages us to keep focused on what we really want and to pursue our goals until we achieve them.
Loida Zabala
Loida Zabala, has suffered from acute myelitis since she was 11 years old, is a 2 times world champion and 15 times Spanish champion in adapted powerlifting and wishes to be an actress. Sometimes she thinks that fate doesn't exist, but if it did, she knows she could lift it.
Eva Moral
Eva Moral, was injured in an accident and lost mobility in her lower body; she represented Spain in Tokyo 2020 in the adapted triathlon category. She shares her thoughts on the sport, in which only you and what you decide to be are left, that's why you can believe in luck, but luck will never have the last word.
